Raviv Limonad (24, 1.91), the guard from Ironi Nahariya and the Israeli National Team, has signed with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv.
Limonad will play for Maccabi until the end of 2012.
It is too late in the season for Limonad to participate in Maccabi’s final Euroleague game of the season tomorrow (Thursday) night against
Limonad, a physical guard with strong athletic ability, a powerful drive to the basket and excellent defensive qualities, played this season for Ironi Nahariya.
After 16 games this season, he averaged 14 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Limonad shares the top scoring position in the Israeli league with Lior Eliyahu.
Raviv Limonad played in the children and youth leagues in Netanya, where he was considered a guard of the future for the Israeli National Team.
During the 2002/03 season, he played for Ironi Ramat Gan and was named the Youth Discovery of the year.
For the next three seasons he played for Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem, where he took part in the 2004 ULEB Cup victory (under the guidance of Sharon Drucker).
