Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv have bolstered their backcourt with a major signing. Andrew Goudelock joined Maccabi on a one year contract that includes an option to extend it for another year.
The 27 year old, 6'3 guard will provide a much needed scoring and playmaking ability for Erez Edelstein's team after spending much of last season in the NBA, playing for the Houston Rockets.
Goudelock made a name for himself in the Euroleague in 2014/15, playing for Fenerbache Ulker. He scored 17 points per game, while shooting 46.1% from beyond the arc. Goudelock led Fener to the final four and earned a spot on the ALL-Euroleague second team.
In 2013/14, Goudelock played for Kazan and was voted MVP in both the VTB league and the Eurocup. He led Kazan to the Eurocup final, the VTB league semi-final and won the Russian state cup. His NBA career also includes a stint in LA playing for the Lakers, at which point Kobe Bryant himself dubbed him "Mini-Mamba".
