Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv landed in Kaunas Lithuania where they will face Zalgiris on Friday (20:00 local, Sport5). With a record of 4:9 the squad in yellow and blue have taken upon themselves to finish the first round on a high note, and for that to happen they will need to get a win against a very tough home team coached by a yellow legend.

“We have a difficult mission because we play against a very good team especially in their home court”, said coach Giannis Sfairopoulos. “It’s a tough home court even though they didn’t start well the season in their home court, now the last home games they play much better and we need to be very focused, concentrated and get ready to overcome all the challenges that we will face during the game".

"We are very happy to have a lot of our fans together with us that will support us on the court", added coach Sfairopoulos. "We are in a good momentum, every game in the EuroLeague is difficult especially when you play away, we don’t think about the result, we think about what we have to do on the court”.
