Maccabi extends Kattash for two more seasons
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv extended Oded Kattash for two more seasons, as the head coach signed a contract that will run until 2026. Coach Kattash lead the team to a second consecutive appearance in the EuroLeague playoffs this season, despite facing unprecedented adversity.

"I am happy and proud to sign for two more years with Maccabi", confirmed Kattash, "I really appreciate and am thankful for the vote of confidence, and I am ready for the challenges that we will face down the road. Now we are all focused together in the task at hand, winning the Israeli championsh".



"It seems natural and obligated that Oded will remain in his role as Maccabi Tel Aviv's head coach for the next two years", said club chairman Shimon Mizrahi. "The current basketball season proved and affirmed his capabilities. Oded was able to navigate and strengthen his bond with the players despite the difficult conditions that befell us in the past 8 months, and attained notable achievements. I wish Oded more success with our team".

"I am very happy that Oded is staying with us for two more years", added Maccabi's sporting director Avi Even, "Oded has long become a part of our family and, along with his coaching staff, the team's personnel and the management, faced unprecedented challenges this season. He is certainly a top EuroLeague coach, while our next goal is winning the championship. After that, we will work hand in hand ahead the next challenges. I am optimistic and sure that this connection will continue to yield great results and moments of happiness for our fans".
