Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has apologized to the management of the Euroleague, the management of Olympiacos, and the Greek media for missing the press conference that was held after last Thursday’s game against Olympiacos in Piraeus

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv explained that the fact that they did not appear at the press conference after the game was due to a misunderstanding between the professional staff and management, and the Greeks.

Maccabi rushed to the bus after the game so as not to miss their flight home to Israel.
There was no intention on Maccabi’s part to deliberately miss the press conference; such behavior is in no way characteristic of the team.
The team has apologized to everyone who was affected by the incident.

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv deeply appreciates Olympiacos, and is certain that the relationship between the clubs will not be damaged.
