After a late night meeting between team owners, management and Erez Edelstein, it was decided to end Edelstein's tenure as head coach due to inadequacy between the two sides. Rami Hadar will serve as head coach from now on, with Lior Liubin serving as 1st assistant.
 
Club chairman, Shimon Mizrahi said: "It was not an easy decision. We have a lot of respect for Coach Edelstein but there were clear inadequacies, there were disagreements and things we didn't see eye to eye on. Rami and Lior will lead the team from now on".
 
"We are not planning any change in the squad. We believe we have a great group of players, who can achieve a lot this season. I believe that before too long, you'll be able to see a good team preforming well".
