Coach Rami Hadar met this morning with the Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv's chairman, Shimon Mizrahi and CEO Hagai Badash and resigned from his position.

Rami Hadar: “After the game in Belgrade, I decided to ask the team’s management to be relieved from my position as head coach of Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv, after reaching the conclusion that I cannot make the necessary changes for the team. This decision is made with a heavy heart and reflects my understanding of my responsibility for the latest results.

“I got all the support and means from the team’s management and owners and would like to thank them for it. I’d also like to thank my staff – Lior, Tim and Regev for their professionalism and friendship”.

Head assistant coach, Lior Lubin, will be the coach for the cup game vs. Gilboa/Galil on Sunday and handle the practices this weekend. The club will immediately begin its search for a head coach.
