Club Announcement Regarding the Team Captain

Reps for Itay Segev informed Maccabi for the second time that the forward is requesting to part ways with the club. For the time being his request was denied, John DiBartolomeo will serve as team captain

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv wishes to inform that on Sunday January 21st, for the second time in recent weeks, reps for Itay Segev informed the club's management that Itay wishes to leave the team, for the time being his request was denied. 

Itay is an important and a highly valuable player in Maccabi, however he will no longer serve as the team captain as a player who is requesting to leave his team cannot be the one who leads it. It is the captain's responsibility to represent the value of putting the team's success above his own.

Itay will remain an active Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv player, John DiBartolomeo will serve as team captain.
