Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv is happy to announce the addition of Angelo Caloiaro for the upcoming season (PF, 28, 2.03m) and he will join the team for the preparations of the 2018/19 season. Angelo is known for his strength and his ability to shoot from downtown, he last played for Banvit in the Turkish BSL and in FIBA's Basketball Champions League.

Angelo Dominic Caloiaro, born in San Jose California. Caloiaro played for the University of San Francisco and then went undrafted in the 2012 draft; his first professional contract was with Rilski Sportlist (Bulgaria) he then signed with Mittledeutcher BC of the German Bundesliga, in the 2014/15 season he played for Telekom Bonn (German Bundesliga) in the domestic league and in the EuroCup.
During the summer of 2015 Caloiaro signed with Obradoiro of the ACB where he averaged 11.6P (63.2% for 2P) 5.6R and 2S, he then played for B?y?k?ekmece of the Turkish BSL (11.9P and 5.4R shooting 72.1% for 2P in the EuroCup) before joining Banvit.
In his stint with Banvit Angelo played 35 games in the Turkish BSL averaging 13.1P and 5.9R shooting 45.8% from deep (67.5% for 2P, 82.7% from the free throw line) as they finished fourth, he also played 18 games in FIBA's BCL where he averaged 11.8P & 5.6R shooting 40% from distance.
