Eli Drikes will end his role at the club

Recently, Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club CEO Eli Derikes asked the team owners to set a deadline for his position after 13 years in Maccabi, a sense of exhaustion and a desire to contact other channels. After discussions with the club's owners, it was agreed that Eli will retire by the end of the year (December 31th 2019), unless required for a longer overlap period.

In his 13 years at Maccabi, Drikes led the team, including the marketing, sales, management, sponsors and relationships with the fans and for which the club is deeply grateful. Over the years, in addition to much professionalism in his work, he developed close relationships with with all the partners and fans which he came in contact with.

Eli Drikes is a Maccabist in his soul, throughout all of his organs and all his quarters. He will always remain not only a friend, but an integral part of the Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv family.

Eli Drikes said "I would like to sincerely thank the entire group of owners at Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, all the team members, office workers and the fans. I have enjoyed my time at Maccabi and now it is time to explore new challenges and new opportunities that will open. I will always help Maccabi with everything I can. I was and always will be a Maccabist".
