"We tried to give our best to our fans"

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv EuroLeague season is coming to an end, but in their last home EuroLeague game of the European season, they gave the Yellow & Blue fans a show crushing Khimki Moscow 92:62 on Tuesday evening. On Friday, Maccabi finally closes its Euroleague season when they'll head out to St. Petersburg to face Zenit. On Monday, the Israeli champion will return to the Israeli Winner League as they'll host Hapoel Jerusalem.

Scottie Wilbekin (5 rebounds in 13 minutes) and Ante ?i?i? (7 rebounds) led 6 double-digit scorers with 13 points each, Dragan Bender contributed 12 points and 7 boards, Oz Blayzer added a EuroLeague high 11 points and 3 steals as John DiBartolomeo and Tyler Dorsey (6 assists) each scored 10 points. 

"We are all happy we had a good game, we wanted to react after Sunday's loss and play well for our fans because this was our last EuroLeague home game", Related head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos about his teams' performance. "Each player that was on the court helped the team. We were serious, focused, and we controlled the game throughout the whole time".



Ante Zizic, who scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, spoke on the feelings after the win: "That was our last EuroLeague home game, so we tried to give our best to our fans and for our feeling. It was a tough season, but I am really happy that we got this win like this".

"I'm just really, really happy that we won our last game here, and it's important to go out on a good note on our home floor", Said Scottie Wilbekin after scoring 13 points in 13 minutes. "I know we have one more game, but I am really happy we got the win".

Oz Blayzer, who delivered a EuroLeague high 11 points, addressed the importance of winning the last home EuroLeague contest: "This game was really important for us, we wanted to make our fans happy in our last home EuroLeague game. I'm happy we played a good game and personally help the team win".
