Completed his second season with the club. The first Lithuanian to play for Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv. On May in Moscow was elected the MVP of Eiuroleague's Final Four and won the Euroleague Cup for the third year in a row. Was also chosen for the second year running to the All-Euroleague Team. Euroleague 2004/05 season's averages: 15.6 pts, 5.3 ass, 2.0 rbds. 2pts% 47.6%, 3pts% 40.0%,FG% 44.0% FT% 94% Arrived in Tel Aviv on September 2003 straight from the European Championships in Stockhplm where he was elected MVP after leading Lithuania to the title. Won his second Premier League championship and national cup. Was elected MVP of the Premier League. 2004/05 Season's averages in the League: 13.1 pts, 5.0 ass, 2.0 rbds, 1.0 stls, 2pts 56.0%, 3pts 53.4%, FG 54.4%, FT 88.0%. At a young age left his home for the US and played school basketball at Solanco High in Quarryville, Pa. From 1994 to 1998 played for the University of Maryland (14.5 points, 2.3 assists). In the 1998/99 season he played for Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius in his home country (17.5 pts, 5.0 ass). In the following season he played in Slovenia for Olimpija Ljubljana (9.3 pts, 3.4 ass). He joined Barcelona for the 2000/01 season. and played there for three seasons winning 2 ACB championships, 2 King’s Cups and the Euroleague Championship in the 2002/03 season. At the end of the 2002/03 season he was named MVP of the Spanish League Finals. With the Lithuanian National Team he also won a bronze medal in the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. Previously was the one of the stars of the Lithuanian teams who were crowned European Junior Champions in 1994 in Tel Aviv & European u.22 Champions in 1996 in Istanbul.
