Linhart is a very intelligent small forward who can also play at the guard position. He is an energetic player who can read the defense and create opportunities for himself and his teammates. Linhart is a true team player, who helps those playing alongside him to be better, and for whom team success is the number one priority. A strong and stable shooter from three point range, Linhart averaged 40% shooting from downtown in the last two years. He makes intelligent decisions and smart passes on the court, is an excellent rebounder at his position, and is an aggressive defender who loves to steal the ball.
Last season Linhart played for Umana Venezia in the Italian League, where he posted averages of 9.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists, with 40.8% shooting from three point range and 52% from two point range. In the game against Italian champions Milano, Linhart was a standout with 20 points and 8 rebounds.
For the two seasons prior, Linhart played for German team TBB Trier where, during the 2012-13 season he averaged 12.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game with 39.5% shooting from three point range and 50% from two. In his first season in Germany, 2011-12, he was crowned King of Steals of the league with 1.7 per game, along with 9.3 points and 5 rebounds.
Linhart played at the University of Akron for four years (2005-2009), where in his senior year he averaged 10.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. After college, he played in the Austrian League and in the NBA D-League; from there he moved to the German League and on to Italy before coming to Maccabi.
