Buford (1.96), was born on 02\/11\/1977 in Milwaukee, plays as guard\/forward and could be an appropriate replacement for Anthony Parker. Graduate of Creighton College (1999) where he averaged 17.9 pts, 6 rbds &#038; 1.8 asts. Selected by the Miami Heat as 53rd overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. In the 1999\/00 season played 34 games with the Heat. Moved to Rimini, Italy where he averaged 24.1 pts, 5 rbds &#038; 2 asts. Returned to the NBA for the 2000\/01 season with Philadelphia 76ers. Played 46 games averaging 5.3 pts. In the next season he played 63 for the Memphis Grizzlies averaging 13.4 pts, 6.2 rbds &#038; 1.6 asts. Returned to Europe for the 2002\/03 season winning the Greek championship with Panathinaikos Athens. Played vs Maccabi in the Euroleague where he averaged 9.2 pts &#038; 2.3 rbds. In the 2003\/04 season played 22 games for Sacramento Kings. Later joined the Dakota Wizards in the CBA. Returned to the NBA for the 2004\/05 season with the New Jetsey Nets where he played 64 games averaging 7 pts, 3 rbds &#038; 1 assist.  Last season Buford played for Sioux Fall Skyforce in the CBA averaging 18.1 pts &#038; 4.8 rbds.
