In the coming days, Marcus Fizer will be examined by the surgeon who operated on his knee, Dr. Eger.
The forward, who returned to Israel on Sunday and will resume his place on the Maccabi team if he is found to be fit, will undergo treatments with the team\u2019s physiotherapist, Rafi Virshuvski.
Today (Monday), Maccabi held its first practice following the victory Sunday night over Kiryat Ata and before the much-anticipated game against Hapoel Jerusalem at Malha Arena on Thursday.<\/FONT>

\u201cThe operation on Marcus\u2019 knee was successful; the problem is; the knee needs to be strengthened.
Right now, there\u2019s little to no strength in the knee, and it can\u2019t support much weight, particularly not that of Marcus himself.
In addition, I understand that he hasn\u2019t done much in the last couple of months,\u201d said Virshuvski to a reporter from the Sport 5 website.<\/FONT>
