With Lior Eliyahu and Yaniv Green injured, and Tre Simmons not feeling well, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv took on Gilboa Galil in a practice game on Monday.
<\/SPAN>Starting for Maccabi were Marcus Brown, Carlos Arroyo, D\u2019or Fischer, Charles Gaines and Tal Burstein.
<\/SPAN>The starters for Gilboa\/Galil were Gal Mekel, Brian Randle, Elishay Kadir, Dagan Yavzuri, and Dion Dowell. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>


<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Both teams played well in the opening quarter, with Gaines scoring an impressive dunk to open the game.
<\/SPAN>When Dee Brown subbed into the game for Marcus Brown, he played extremely well in tandem with Arroyo and Burstein, showing that the newcomer is finding his place in Maccabi.
<\/SPAN>Gilboa\/Galil scored some impressive three-pointers, and the quarter ended in a tie, 21 all.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>


<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The second quarter started off with smooth teamwork between Dee Brown and Fischer.
<\/SPAN>Arroyo and Marcus Brown sat out several minutes of the period, with team captain Derrick Sharp and Dee Brown running a good offense in their stead.
<\/SPAN>Gilboa\/Galil opened a small lead, and a technical foul called on Arroyo (his fourth foul of the game) didn\u2019t help matters for Maccabi.
<\/SPAN>At halftime, the visitors led 43 \u2013 34.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>


<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Gilboa\/Galil opened strong in the third quarter, and their lead crept into double digits: after four minutes of play the score stood at 50 \u2013 38 in favor of the visitors.
<\/SPAN>Gilboa\/Galil took advantage of a few turnovers by Maccabi and the period ended with the visitors leading, 70 \u2013 49.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>


<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The fourth quarter was a continuation of the third, with Gilboa\/Galil steadily increasing their lead.
<\/SPAN>In the final minute of the game, Omri Casspi sustained an ankle injury and left the court.
<\/SPAN>Arroyo and Marcus Brown didn\u2019t play at all in the second half.
<\/SPAN>Final score, 93 \u2013 70 to Gilboa\/Galil.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
