mso-bidi-language: HE\">David Bluthenthal, who is an Israeli citizen, is returning to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags\" \/><st1:country-region w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">Israel<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> for his third stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\"><br \/> <\/SPAN>The coming season will be his fourth, overall, with the club.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\"><br \/> <\/SPAN>Bluthenthal, who signed with the Israeli champions for the first time in the summer of 2002 and played with Maccabi for two consecutive seasons, won two Israeli championships and two Israel Cups at that time, not to mention the unforgettable Euroleague championship victory of 2004 in Tel Aviv, where he was one of the outstanding players.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: HE\"><o:p><br \/><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: HE\">Bluthenthal returned to Maccabi for the 2007\/08 season, and again reached the Euroleague finals.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\"><br \/> <\/SPAN>Last season he played for the French team, <st1:City w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">Le Mans<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>, which won the French Cup.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\"><br \/> <\/SPAN>Bluthenthal\u2019s Euroleague averages last year were 12.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: HE\"><o:p><br \/><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: HE\">Bluthenthal, who is known as the player with a golden hand, first came to <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">Israel<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> in 1997 as the youngest player on the American Maccabiah team.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\"><br \/> <\/SPAN>He played at the <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:PlaceType w:st=\"on\">University<\/st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName w:st=\"on\">Southern California<\/st1:PlaceName><\/st1:place> for 4 years, and in his European career has played for Dynamo Saint Petersburg, Benetton Treviso, Virtus Bologna, Fortitudo Bologna, and as previously mentioned, <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">France<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>\u2019s <st1:City w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">Le Mans<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif';
