Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv is pleased to announce the signing of the young and talented player, Elishay Kadir<\/B> for the next three seasons.<\/FONT>

<\/P>

After the signing, the player said, \u201cI\u2019m very happy to have reached this place and this moment.
It\u2019s something you dream about from childhood, and suddenly it\u2019s reality.
I had an amazing year with Galil and I won\u2019t ever forget the team, the fans, the staff, and the management, and especially the coach, Oded Katash.
I\u2019m happy to be starting something new and good with Maccabi Tel Aviv and hope to contribute a lot and be an important part of what\u2019s being built here.\u201d<\/FONT>

Shimon Mizrahi<\/B>, chairman of the club, said, \u201cIt was a businesslike negotiation, and we\u2019re happy that it concluded successfully.
This is another very important signing of an Israeli player following on the return of Tal Burstein to the Maccabi uniform.
We at Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv are very happy to sign young, high quality, dynamic players like Elishay, and I\u2019m sure he\u2019ll find a warm home with us.\u201d<\/FONT>

Kadir (22, 2.03 meters) began his career with Maccabi Ramat Gan, where he played from 2005 \u2013 2008 on both the youth and adult teams.
He moved to Hapoel Gilboa-Galil for the 2008 \u2013 2009 season.
This past season was a break-through year for him, when he was named Winner League Most Valuable Player and helped his team win the Israeli Championship.
In 22 league games, he averaged 14.2 points (68.7% from two point range), pulled down 5.9 rebounds, and finished with an overall index score average of 16.3.<\/FONT>

<\/P>

As a player on the Under-21 Israeli National Team, Kadir finished, together with Omri Casspi, in sixth place in the European Championship, where he scored an average of 13 points and took 4.4 rebounds.
The outstanding forward is a member of the current Israeli National Team and will be playing in the preliminary rounds in Europe this summer.<\/FONT>
