Goodes, who played for Maccabi for eight seasons, also served the club as assistant coach to former Maccabi head coaches Neven Spahja, Oded Katash and Zvika Sherf for two seasons (2006 \u2013 2007 and 2007 \u2013 2008). As a player with Maccabi, Goodes scored 707 points in Europe (number 25 on the list of all-time top scorers for the team). For the past two years Goodes has been the head coach of Hapoel Jerusalem.<\/P> <P>Goodes, who will be beginning his eleventh season with Maccabi, said this morning (Tuesday): \u201cI\u2019m very happy to be returning to Maccabi Tel Aviv; it\u2019s like home to me, I know it very well and no less important, it\u2019s a club I love very much. I\u2019ve had a long and wonderful experience with Maccabi so far. I\u2019m going to give everything I have.
