The center of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv and the Greek National Team Sofoklis Schortsanitis<\/B> arrived in Israel on Sunday morning.
Dozens of Maccabi fans were on hand to welcome Big Sofo to Israel with flags and drums.
When Schortsanitis entered the arrivals hall, he was already wearing Maccabi yellow.
He was greeted by Gur Shelef and Ami Biton.<\/FONT><\/P>

\u201cI\u2019ve been here a lot of times, and it\u2019s a great feeling,\u201d said Schortsanitis of the reception he received at the airport.
\u201cI\u2019ve never had anything like this happen to me.
Coach Blatt has put a lot of faith in me, and what I\u2019m going to try and do is come out and every time I get on the court, to do the best that I can.
I\u2019ve come to one of the best teams in Europe. I\u2019m going to work hard with my teammates and Coach Blatt and try to be one of the best.\u201d<\/FONT>
