It\u2019s quite a welcome to come to such passionate crowds like this at the airport,\u201d said <B>Jon Scheyer<\/B> upon his arrival in Israel. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to making the next step. It\u2019s my first team I\u2019ll be playing with full time since being at Duke and winning there. So I\u2019m really excited for this next step and just can\u2019t wait to get started.\u201d<\/FONT> <\/P> <P align=center><IFRAME height=340 src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/psOO_wLQ8ZM\" frameBorder=0 width=425 allowfullscreen><\/IFRAME><\/P> <P><FONT size=2 face=Arial>\u201cI really just want to help the team however I can,\u201d Scheyer continued. \u201cObviously, they had a great year last year, and they have such a great tradition, you just want to uphold that. So for me, I just want to come in and not hold anything back, be the best I can, and whatever Coach wants me to do, I\u2019ll do.\u201d When asked what he knows about his teammates, Scheyer replied, \u201cI know about all of them but I haven\u2019t met many of them\u2026Jeremy Pargo and I are from the same area, in Chicago, so we know each other well, but besides that I\u2019m looking forward to getting to know the rest and having great relationships with them. Jeremy has been such a great player for the last few years, so I just want to come in and be a great complement to him and all the other guys and figure out what my role is. So I\u2019ll look to Coach just to kind of tell me what to do a little bit more on that, and we\u2019ll see.\u201d When asked if the injury he suffered to his eye last year still bothers him, Scheyer said, \u201cNo, I feel great. The injury isn\u2019t a problem. I know with three leagues it\u2019s a lot of games, could be up to 90 games, and that\u2019s exciting for me. I\u2019ll play in as many games [as I can] and I\u2019m looking forward to doing that.\u201d<\/FONT> <\/P> <P align=center><IMG style=\"WIDTH: 425px; HEIGHT: 283px\" border=1 hspace=0 alt=\"Jon Scheyer Arrives in Israel\" align=baseline src=\"https:\/\/www.maccabi.co.il\/mtpic\/IMG_7926.jpg\"><BR><\/P> <P><FONT size=2 face=Arial>On Sunday, 3 July, Scheyer will undergo a fitness examination in the morning. In the afternoon, the club will host a celebratory press conference for Scheyer at Nokia Arena.
