In order to win in Belgrade you have to be completely focused and at the top of your form \u2013 two things we were not tonight. No excuses: we simply weren\u2019t good enough to win tonight.\u201d<\/FONT> <BR><\/P> <P><FONT size=2 face=Arial>\u201cWe tried a few things, but too many times we lost our focus and messed up. We had several opportunities to take the lead, and we simply couldn\u2019t do it. One bright spot came at the end when Jordan scored that great three pointer that ensured that we lost by a lower point difference than the one by which we beat Partizan in Tel Aviv; that could really help us down the road.\u201d<\/FONT> <\/P> <P align=center><IMG border=1 hspace=0 alt=\"\" align=baseline src=\"https:\/\/www.maccabi.co.il\/mtpic\/134430760.jpg\"><BR><\/P> <P><FONT size=2 face=Arial>\u201cI want to thank Jordan Farmar and Nikola Pekovic, two great players from the NBA, who proved that first and foremost they are basketball players, and not businessmen. Tonight they played one last game for their fans and their clubs and they deserve our appreciation for that.\u201d<\/FONT> <BR><\/P> <P><FONT size=2 face=Arial>\u201cI especially want to thank Jordan, who gave us his body, his soul, and his heart. Although he was only with us for a relatively short time, he led us to the top in each of the three leagues we play in, put us in an excellent position from which to move forward for the rest of the season, and provided an excellent personal example.
