Shanti House takes in youth who are in immediate danger or who are on the brink of becoming victims of physical violence, sexual abuse, crime, prostitution and the like.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">We hope to provide tools for our chosen community as they struggle with the problems they face in their everyday lives through basketball practices, values from the sports world,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">and a<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">connection with the fans and the team,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">thereby providing<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span>real social<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">impact<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">. It is not a simple thing to involve these youth in sports activities, but we feel confident that lessons in life skills taught through basketball will improve the current and future situations of these youth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;text-align: center;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">The<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">2 \u2013 3 hour long<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">get-togethers will occur every week<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">. In them we will focus on inter-personal communication, working in groups, and strengthening self-confidence through exercises and supervised activity<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">, while en<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">sur<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">ing that<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span>the participants understand the goals of the meeting. In the framework of the project, the youth from Shanti House will meet with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv\u2019s players and professional staff. These get-togethers, along with the personal attention the youth from Shanti House will receive, will instill in them a sense of belonging and<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span>will<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">inspire them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"white-space: normal;text-transform: none;font: 10pt\/14px 'Times New Roman';margin: 0pt;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0px\"> \t<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">Project ONE TEAM has the power to transmit positive values. All of the Euroleague teams participating in this<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">project come together to form a<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">marvelous<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span>force for change.
