He has a solid left-handed shot from three point range, plays a tough and extremely active game, creates opportunities with muscular drives to the basket and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">is one of the leading <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">rebound<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">er<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">s<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> in Europe in<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> his position.<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> He plays with a lot of passion and enthusiasm, and always develops a strong connection with the local fans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; text-align: center; \"> \t\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JRqo9UxCVjA\" width=\"425\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; \"> \t\t<span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">Caner-Medley played for four years at the University of Maryland. In his final season with the Terrapins he posted impressive averages of 15.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">In the summer of 2006 he was signed by the Detroit Pistons, with whom he played a summer season until a stress fracture in his foot put him out of commission for several months. In February of 2<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">00<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">7 he joined the Artland Dragons of Germany, which he led to the team&#8217;s first-ever appearance in the playoff finals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; \"> \t\t<span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">After a brief term in the NBA&#8217;s Development League, Caner-Medley moved to Spain for the 2007 &ndash; 2008 season, playing for Kalise Gran Canaria<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">, which also took part in the Eurocup. In that<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">league he contributed an average of 13.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; \"> \t\t<span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">Caner-Medley played the 2008 &ndash; 2009 season with Cajasol Sevilla<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">,<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> where he averaged 10.7 points per game. His next team was Estudiantes Madrid<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">, where he enjoyed two fantastic seasons during which he was twice chosen MVP of the Month in the Spanish League.<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> In his second season with the club he posted averages of 14.4 points and 7.6 rebounds and finished first in the league&#8217;s overall index ranking with 17.6 index points per game. He was also the top rebounder in the league, and was named to the Spanish League&#8217;s first team that season. He averaged 12.4 points and took 7 rebounds in the Eurocup and was named to the All-Eurocup Second Team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; text-align: center; \">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; \"> \t\t<span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">Last season, 2011 &ndash; 2012, the talented American moved to Valencia for his fifth straight season in Spain. He led the team to the Eurocup Final against Khimki Moscow, where he finished with a very impressive double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, scoring 11 for 11 from the foul line and making 3 blocks; all of which added up to an index score of 38 points.  Still, Khimki ended up taking the title with a 77 &ndash; 68 victory over Valencia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; \"> \t\t<span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">Caner-Medley finished the season with Eurocup averages of 13.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and an index of 16.9 (third in the league), stats which earned him a spot on the All-Eurocup First Team. He was ranked ninth in the Spanish League with an average index of 15.6; he also claimed ninth place for points averaged (13.2) and seventh place for rebounds (6.8)<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">, while leading Valencia to the league&#8217;s semi-final <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">playoffs<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 17px; margin: 0pt 0pt 10pt; \"> \t\t<span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv&#8217;s head coach <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; font-weight: bold; \">David Blatt<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> had this to say about the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \">team&#8217;s<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; \"> newest member: &#8220;Nik is an excellent addition to the club, both as a player and as an individual. He is exactly what we were looking for in the number 4 spot after losing David Blu; he will be a huge advantage for us with his inside game and his outside shooting ability.
