All of the team\u2019s players were in attendance<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\">, with the exception of Giorgi Shermadini, whose wife gave birth to their second son earlier this week. Also in attendance were Guy Pnini and the entire professional staff, as well as team mascot Donny the Dog and representatives of the team\u2019s fan club, The Yellow Heart, who handed out chocolate coins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"> \t<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\">As is <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\">their custom, the players filled the hospital\u2019s halls and rooms with yellow and blue, and it\u2019s difficult to find the words to describe the smiles on the faces of the children when they met the stars of Maccabi and received gifts that included team shirts, posters and candy. The team also distributed cookies, a gift provided by Cup \u2018O\u2019 Joe, one of the team\u2019s sponsors, toys and Supergoal stickers provided by PMI, and coloring books, balloons and memory games provided by Kupat Holim Clalit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; text-align: center;\"> \t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"330\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0X13NGAaGqY\" width=\"425\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"> \t<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\">Head coach <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">David Blatt <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\">said of the visit: \u201cEveryone experiences these visits in his own way, but they affect everyone. The guys get some perspective about what is really important in life, and they try to return all of the love that they get. It\u2019s an opportunity to help people who aren\u2019t feeling well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"> \t<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\">Team captain <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;\">Lior Eliyahu<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\"> added: \u201cIt isn\u2019t easy to see such tiny children undergoing these difficult treatments. We want to see them happy.
