The ball, like it almost always does when he shoots, went in. It seemed like just another triple, but in fact it was a momentous bucket for the veteran forward, marking Blu\u2019s 1,000th point \u2013 exactly \u2013 for Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv in the<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Euroleague (he scored another ten points during the game, bringing his total so far to 1,010).<br \/> \tBlu is the 18th Maccabi player to reach 1,000 points in Europe.\u00a0 He needs another 88 points in order to surpass Lior Eliyahu, and 102 points to overtake Oded Katash.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Blu is ranked 34th among the top scorers in the Euroleague of all time. He has 1,417 points, some of which he scored while playing for Benetton Treviso, Le Mans, and Fortitudo Bologna, in addition to the points he scored for Maccabi.
