CSKA is always strong, and we still have fresh memories from the last Final Four. Malaga is a strong Spanish team, Alba is a rising force in basketball, Cedevita reached the Final against us in the Adriatic League in 2012, and Limoges is once again becoming a big name in European basketball. Obviously, we will need to sign more than a few new players, but we will do everything possible to make sure that Guy [Goodes, Maccabi\u2019s new head coach] and our wonderful fans have a strong, high quality team. There\u2019s a long way to go, but we are confident in ourselves.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Newly-appointed head coach, <strong>Guy Goodes<\/strong>: \u201cIt\u2019s a good, interesting draw. Our goal for the first stage of the season is, of course, to reach the Top 16. We need to finish filling out the roster, and build the best and strongest team we can in order to meet the high standard we set for ourselves last year. Everyone is speculating over what\u2019s good and what\u2019s not, what\u2019s easy and what\u2019s difficult, but at this stage of the season it\u2019s simply impossible to know how the teams will look.
