Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv started the game trying to set the tone early, <\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">however<\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"> Buducnost had different plans as they took control over the game and were ahead after three quarters, <\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">however<\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"> Maccabi remained poised and completed a great fourth quarter to secure the 68:78 road win.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> \t&#8220;I think we played excellent in the second half especially last quarter&#8221;, said Coach Spahija. &#8220;Our defense was very impressive, it was very difficult to play after the CSKA game, it took a lot of energies from us but at the<\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">end<\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"> we found the right lineup and energy to win this game&#8221;. So what made the difference in the second half: &#8220;A couple of threes that we missed in the first half and outstanding defense in the last quarter&#8221; coach Spahija added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> \t&#8220;A lot of, a lot of hard work and team work, we started out little slow but we came through in the second half&#8221;, said DeAndre Kane who had a monster performance of 7P, 8R<\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">and<\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"> 6A. &#8220;We held them to 27 points in the whole second half so I think it was a great team effort defense and we made a lot of good effort plays on the offense side too to get the win&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p> \tAngelo Caloiaro who delivered yet another great performance said: &#8220;In the second half we came out and played great defense, we held them to 27 points and that&#8217;s what turned around for us, it was a win and we needed one so that was big for us&#8221;.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maccabi&#8217;s head coach after the 68:78 win: &#8220;It was very difficult to play after the CSKA game, it took a lot of energies from us&#8221;.
