This initiative was made by the World Jewish Congress and it reached a world wide exposure last year.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">During the last three weeks &#8211; from January 6th till the 27th- millions of people across the world have taken pictures of themselves holding a sign with the campaign&rsquo;s name and then published it on social media for the purpose of increasing the awareness of remembrance of the holocaust and as a part of the never ending fight against antisemitism and hate.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">All the pictures that will be gathered from around the world will be put on display on a giant screen at the Auschwitz Birkenau concentration camp, a display that will be broadcasted live on the World Jewish Congress Facebook page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> \t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv have participated substantially in this campaign when 11,000 fans held up signs saying #WeRemember just before the EuroLeague game against Red Star, and also sang the Israeli national anthem Hatikva, which made it very emotional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Before the league game against Hapoel Be&rsquo;er Sheva- Bnei Shimon, some of the Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv players took pictures holding the #WeRemember sign which was a part of a join campaign made by the league administration. The 2012 UEFA champions league champs and six times premier league champs Chelsea is another international club that participated in this campaign.<\/p>\n<p> \t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"980\" height=\"420\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/jd20wr.jpg\" style=\"width: 980px; height: 420px;\" class=\"wp-image-503174 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maccabi.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/jd20wr.jpg 980w, https:\/\/maccabi.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/jd20wr-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/maccabi.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/jd20wr-768x329.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Towards the upcoming EuroLeague game between Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and Panathinaikos, Maccabi representatives have met with the World Jewish Congress representatives and both sides have agreed to continue the blessed cooperation this year as well with a special ceremony that is scheduled to be held at the Menora Mivtachim Arena with thousands of fans participating in it.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Earlier today the official opening ceremony of the Judo Grand Prix will be held in Israel with the Chairman of the World Judo Association Marius Veizer will receive from the World Jewish Congress a shield of appreciation for his substantial contribution to Sports equality and against discrimination.
