\t\tMaccabi Playtika came up short, falling dramatically to Olympiacos 82:85, dropping to a 1:3 record in the EuroLeague. The Yellow & Blue stayed tight to the Greeks throughout the contest, took the lead in the fourth quarter, and Wilbekin hit a clutch three-pointer to tie it up with 8 seconds left on the game clock. However, Aaron Harrison had the final say, knocking in a game-winning triple on the buzzer, sending his team home with a dramatic victory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\t\tMaccabi’s head coach\u00a0<\/span>Giannis Sfairopoulos\u00a0<\/strong>spoke<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>at the postgame press conference: “Throughout the game, it was a close one. At one point, Olympiacos took a 10 point lead, but slowly we came back and competed until the end to get the win. Tonight we fought really well and showed a different character than last game against Bayern, and small details decided the game in the end”.<\/span><\/p>\n

\t\t“The positive is Chris Jones, and Oz Blayzer proved they are true EuroLeague players, but we are sad because we lost our third game in a row in the final minute. We will continue to fight, practice, and improve our game, especially the small details, to get these types of wins in the future”.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\t\tOz Blayzer<\/strong>, who had his best game with the Yellow & Blue, displaying a lot of fighting spirit while adding 10 points, said: “The very end of the game was disappointing. I felt we could’ve won this game, and that was our goal the moment we got on the court until the final play. We believed in it. Olympiacos scored a tough three-pointer, but it’s a part of the game, and I’m proud of the guys fighting spirit”.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\t\t“From now on, we have only one way to go, and that is upwards, I think we’ve progressed from the previous games, and now we have to keep pushing because it’s still a long season, and I’m sure we will win the next game”.<\/span><\/p>\n

\t\tElijah Bryant<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0summarized the game from his perspective:\u00a0“It was a tough game, which came down to the last shot. I think we played well, Harrison hit a tough shot, and you have to tip your hat to him. We are getting better, and we are focusing on getting better each game. It sucks to lose, but these are games that we’ll win later in the season as we continue to get better every single day by building these good habits”.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
