The young forward-center, who had an impressive personal debut season in the yellow uniform, will be integrated into the emerging front line of coach Oded Kattash, who already includes the American forward-center Alex Poythress, center Josh Nebo and forward Jarell Martin.<\/span><\/div>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maccabi.co.il\/archive.asp?lang=en\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><u><strong>Maccabi news &gt;<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Sorkin arrived at Maccabi last summer from Maccabi Haifa and immediately signaled that he was adapting quickly to the level. During the regular season in the local league he averaged 9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, while in the playoffs the numbers grew to 9.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and an average block per game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The Israeli forward (25) took part in 22 regular season games in the Euroleague and made some good appearances: 9 points and 6 rebounds against Panathinaikos, 10 and 8 rebounds against Olympiacos and also 13 points in the victory in Barcelona.
