In his first season in a non-Spanish speaking country, Rivero showed off his feel for the game, good touch and great finishing ability off of the pick-and-roll, especially combining with point guard Tamir Blatt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The Cuban, who joined Maccabi from Valencia last summer, ranked third in the Israeli league in points per minute (0.62), fourth in rebounds per minute (0.3) and third in offensive rebounds per game (2.9). He finished the season with 12.1 PPG and 5.9 RPG in Israel, while posting 7.6 PPG and 3.1 RPG in only 15:37 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
