Clark, who will turn 24 this April, is a versatile 1.91m (6&#8217;3&#8243;) combo guard known for his ability to create shots for himself and for his teammates, as well as his defensive instincts for steals.<\/p>\n<p> \t&#8220;Jimmy Clark is a young player who already in his first year in Europe has shown good abilities on both sides of the court&#8221;, explained coach Oded Kattash. &#8220;He has a good character that suits us, he has a lot of upside, so this is a signing for several years &#8211; which is significant for the club for years to come. This is a player who, in terms of what he brings to the court, can help us meet our goals and will help us in our games in Europe&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p> \t&#8220;I&rsquo;m incredibly honored and excited to join Maccabi Tel Aviv, a club with such a rich history and tradition of excellence&#8221;, Clark told Maccabi.co.il. &#8220;This organization is giving me the opportunity to compete at one of the highest levels, and I&rsquo;m determined to prove that they made a great decision. I can&rsquo;t wait to get to work and contribute to the team&rsquo;s continued success&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Jimmy Clark was born on April 4, 2001, in Covington, Georgia, about a half-hour drive from Atlanta. He is a graduate of Duquesne University, and Herzliya was his first professional stop, following a similar path to former center Shawn James.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/jc20169.jpg\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\" class=\"wp-image-518501 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maccabi.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/jc20169.jpg 980w, https:\/\/maccabi.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/jc20169-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/maccabi.co.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/jc20169-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">In his senior college season, Clark led Duquesne to an impressive campaign&mdash;winning the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament &#8211; both are feats the school had not achieved since 1977. He averaged 15 points, 3.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game during last season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Clark is regarded as an excellent defender, having been selected twice for the conference&#8217;s All-Defensive Team and once for the All-Conference Second Team. In both of his seasons at Duquesne, he led the conference in steals, a skill he has continued to showcase impressively in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">During the current season, Jimmy Clark started in 16 of Herzliya&rsquo;s 17 league games, averaging 14.5 points (56.7% from two-point range), 5.8 assists (4th in the league), and 2 steals per game (2nd in the league).
