The hunt for a first Euroleague away victory continues. Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will face Olimpia Milano on Tuesday (9:30 pm Israel time, 2:30 pm EST) hoping to clinch a win on the road against Ettore Messina's team, two days before they meet Virtus Bologna. but putting hopes and wishes aside - it isn't going to be an easy job to do.
The Yellows will have to manage without two injured key players - Alex Poythress who will be out for 4-6 months, and Wade Baldwin who caught a hamstring injury against Valencia and will not be fit for a few weeks. Oded Kattash can draw optimism from the fact that even without them, his team produced a decisive run in the fourth quarter last Thursday.
"When you look at Milano's squad and coach, you understand that this is a better team than the results show", said Kattash. "We have to be very ready, especially because we arrive without Alex and Wade."
"We are constantly getting better", added Kattash when asked about his team's latest performances. "Improvement is knowing what we want to do defensively, and on the attacking side as well. It is not easy to work on these things during such a crazy schedule, but this is our goal".
