Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv finished its first preparation tournament for the new season with two losses. The second one came today, 96:107 to Paris Basket. A bad defensive performance by the Yellows, which seem to still lack coordination, cost them the game against the tournament's hosts.
Maccabi's next opponent will be Olympiacos in Athens (September 20). Oded Kattash is expected to enjoy by then an almost full squad with four players returning from national duties.
Maccabi's scorers: Alex Poythress 18 points (5 rebounds, 3 assists), Darrun Hilliard 15, Yiftach Ziv 11, Austin Hollins and John DiBartolomeo 10 points each, Wade Baldwin 9 (6 assists), Bonzie Colson 8, Josh Nebo 7, Jarell Martin 6, AJ Rowland 2.
