After coming within touching distance from a first Euroleague road win in Belgrade, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will come back to Winner's league on Sunday (8:15 pm Israel time, 1:15 pm EST) to host Hapoel Jerusalem for what is considered the Israeli Clasico.
The meeting with the Reds will mark Maccabi's fifth game in nine days, and the Yellows will need to take it on without Lorenzo Brown, Austin Hollins, Bonzie Colson, and Alex Poythress. Oded Kattash's roster will include Roman Sorkin, John DiBartolomeo, Jake Cohen, Yiftach Ziv, Wade Baldwin, Jarell Martin, Josh Nebo, Darrun Hilliard, Jalen Adams, Rafi Menco, Guy Pnini, and Tomer Agmon.
"It's very challenging," said Josh Nebo about the schedule he and his teammates have to endure. "It's difficult mentally to be focused time and time again. I think that physically we all can cope, but mentally it is tough to arrive ready for every game and bring your best."
The American center was asked also about the opponent on Sunday and said: "Jerusalem is a very strong opponent, it is one of the best teams in Israel. We need to come prepared because it's going to be a very difficult game".
