In their first real home game in a month, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv could not earn a victory. The yellows lacked energy and gave up a 78-86 loss to Irony Kiryat Ata on Monday, counting three defeats in a row for the first time this season. They will look to regroup and return to winning ways on Thursday when they will host Panathinaikos in Belgrade.

The Maccabees managed to close the gap to within 4 points in the last minutes, with Wade Baldwin (16 points) and Roman Sorkin (11) contributing, but it was too little, too late. The loss puts Maccabi at a 3-3 record in the Israeli league.
