A 25 pts win on the way to the Cup semi final
Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv practically assured their place in the National Cup semi finals with a 108-83 win over Hapoel Ariel Tel Aviv in the first leg of quarter finals at the NOKIA Arena. The second leg will be played on Wednesday in the same venue,
Maccabi, still without the injured Nikola Vujcic, dominated the game throughout. Yotam Halperin sstoppd Hapoel's point guard Curtis McCants and Saras scored 9 points in the first quarter won by Maccabi 27-17. At half time Maccabi's lead was 52-38 and at the end of the third quarter 81-59.
Anthony Parker led Maccabi with 27 pts (15-15 in FT), 6 rbds, 4 stls & 3 assists.
