Between Olympiakos & Cibona, Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv played this evening in Afula and beat Hapoel Gilboa/Afula 113-90 in the first leg of the Cup 1/8 finals.
Maccabi, that left out Parker & Baston, led 30-22 at the end of the first quaater. The hosts, led by the excellent Germaine Hall, came back to 41-41 and at half time Maccabi held only a 55-50 lead. After the third period Maccabi were 71-59 lead and eventually won by 23 points. The second leg will be played on December 4th at the NOKIA Arena.
