Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv suffered a crushing loss to Maccabi Haifa, 91-56. Elijah Millsap scored 15 points, Dragan Bender added 12 points. Devin Smith, Brian Randle, and Trevor Mbakwe were not on the roster due to injuries.
Maccabi's starters were Gal Mekel, Sylven Landesberg, Guy Pnini, Ike Ofoegbu, and Elijah Millsap. Maccabi did not get off to a good start, while Haifa ran to 13-5 in the first five minutes of the game. Coach Tabak called for a time out, but it didn't help the yellows much, as Haifa continued to do as they pleased. The period ended with Maccabi trailing 21-9.
Yogev Ohayon and Dragan Bender returned from the injured list, but weren't able to put the stops on Haifa. The hosts claimed a twenty point lead halfway through the second quarter, and continued to play solid defense at the other end. The teams went into the halftime break with Haifa leading 43-20.
The hosts continued to dominate on both ends of the court, and led by 22 halfway through the third quarter. Maccabi couldn't find their way on offense or defense, and by the end of the period Haifa's lead had grown to 66-35.
Nothing changed in the final quarter of the game, as the visitors continued to struggle, and Haifa opened their lead to forty points with just over a minute left in the game. In the end, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv lost to Maccabi Haifa, 91-56.
