Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv visited the Danziger School in Kiryat Shmona as part of the Basketball for the Community Project of the Israeli Winner Sal League Administration and Mifal Hapais. Yogev Ohayon, a native of the northern town, received a hero’s welcome as did head coach David Blatt.

The highlight of the visit was the friendly game of five on five played against the school’s varsity team, which Maccabi won 30-25. In addition, the players took part in a three point shot competition, signed hundreds of autographs and posed for photos with everyone who asked.
