הנהלת מכבי אלקטרה ת"א החליטה הלילה על שינויים בצוות המקצועי בקבוצה. פיני גרשון, מי שהוביל את המועדון לזכייה בשלושה גביעי אירופה, מונה למאמן הראשי החל ממחר, 25.11.08, ל-3 העונות הקרובות (כולל עונה זו). המועדון נפרד מהמאמן אפי בירנבוים ומעוזרו רועי חגאי, ומודה להם על עבודתם הנאמנה בחודשים האחרונים.


פיני גרשון צפוי לנחות בארץ מחר בשעה בצהריים לנהל את משחקה של מכבי אלקטרה ת"א ביום חמישי מול אוניקאחה מלאגה.
