Will Rayman joined Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv's squad in 2024 after signing with the team a year earlier and going out on loan to St. Quentin in France. The Israeli/American forward is a high basketball IQ player whose contribution stretches farther than what the box score shows.
Rayman, a native of New York City, played high school in New Hampshire and then played four seasons in Colgate University. He spent his first pro season switching between Estonia, Latvia and Germany, before heading to Hapoel Haifa as a naturalized Israeli. After proving his worth as a savvy player, he joined Maccabi on a long term contract.
He was loaned for a season to St. Quentin, where he joined forces with former Maccabi guard Yiftach Ziv. There, he contributed 7.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, helping the modest team to a historic French playoffs appearance.
