Jimmy Clark joined Maccabi in February 2025 from Bnei Herzeliya, where he impressed in his first experience as a pro. He is a graduate of Duquesne University, following a similar path to Maccabi as former center Shawn James.
In his senior college season, Clark led Duquesne to an impressive campaign—winning the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament - both are feats the school had not achieved since 1977. He averaged 15 points, 3.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game during last season.
Clark is regarded as an excellent defender, having been selected twice for the conference's All-Defensive Team and once for the All-Conference Second Team. In both of his seasons at Duquesne, he led the conference in steals, a skill he has continued to showcase impressively in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
During the current season, Jimmy Clark started in 16 of Herzliya’s 17 league games, averaging 14.5 points (56.7% from two-point range), 5.8 assists (4th in the league), and 2 steals per game (2nd in the league). In his game against Maccabi, he shined with 19 points (5-of-6 from three), 9 assists, and 7 rebounds.
