Eight months after the dramatic loss which prevented them to qualify for the Final Four, Zalgiris Kaunas players avenged their loss and beat Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv 104-102 .
It was one of the most exciting games seen at the NOKIA Arena for many years. The lead changed hands several times. Maccabi led 35-26 at the end of the first quarter but Zalgiris were on top at half time 55-49.
Anthony Parker had an index rating of 35 that made him Euroleague’s MVP of the week, one point ahead of Saras.
