Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv first visit to the Petah Tikva Sports Palace ended with a 110-79 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva on the third day of the Premier League.
Saras was the man left out this time and Tal Burstien did not play because of a slight injury. The hosts ked 12-9 but then Maccabi took over and at the end of the first quarter led 28-19. At the half the score read 48-34. The champions scored 62 pts in the second half, won by 31 pts and inflicted the first defeat to the newly promoted Petah Tikva team.
Maceo Baston was the MVP with 18 pts, 7 rbds & 2 assists. Yotam Halperin also played an excellent game with 10 pts, 10 assists, 6 steals & 5 rbds.
