Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv completed the Regular Season in the Premier League with a 96-81 win in Ashkelon. The game was even until the start of the final period (75-71). Inspired by Derrick Sharp Maccabi ran 21-10 for their 21st win of the season. After the first quarter Maccabi were 27-23 up and at half time 47-44.
Maccabi made 66% FG (Ashkelon 52%), pulled down 31 rbds (Ashkelon 21) and dished out 24 assists (Ashkeon 18).
Anthony Parker sat the game out and Nestoras Kommatos took over. In 37 minutes he scored 19 pts with 67% FG, and pulled down 7 rbds.
On Saturday evening Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will host Maccabi SK Rishon Letsion in the first playoff quarter final game.
