Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv completed a clean sweep of Ness Ziona on Sunday, thus advancing to the Israeli league semi finals. The reigning champions thrashed the visiting oranges 105-64 at home and will play the winner of the series between Jerusalem and Holon.

The yellows opened the evening with a moving ceremony in honor of over 100 fans that lost their lives during the war, with roughly 250 of their family members attending.



When the game began, Maccabi continued to dominate Ness Ziona and the victory was never in doubt. Oded Kattash's absence due to an illness had little effect, while Bonzie Colson returned after missing two games after the birth of his baby girl and delivered 14 points. Roman Sorkin and Rafi Menco led the charge with 17 points apiece.

In all, Maccabi defeated Ness Ziona by an aggregate scoring difference of exactly 100 points. The yellows will now wait to see who will be their next adversaries.
