Oded Kattash saw his players struggle for most of the first half against the stifling defense of last season’s EuroLeague finalists. But even with a wide rotation that saw only one player reach 22 minutes on the floor (Bonzie Colson), Maccabi found its groove after the break.

The Maccabees closed the gap to only one point with less than two minutes to go, and had a chance to go up. But a Josh Nebo turnover determined the outcome of the game.
James Webb was terrific with 15 points, leading all Maccabi scorers. Bonzie Colson turn in 10 points, while Lorenzo Brown dished 8 assists.
Maccabi will now prepare to face Ironi Kiryat Ata on Thursday in the Winner Cup quarter finals.
