Nikola Vujcic was the first to face the cameras. "It's a disaster but first of all we need to congratulate Holon or a great game and the title. It happens, since it's only one game and everything can happen. This season started very bad and finished very bad. We had injuries, coaches changed and that's the result. I know the club and the people and this won't go unnoticed. They'll do everything to put the team back on track."
Zvika Sherf said: "As a coach I'm responsible for everything that happens on court - good or bad. I'm the blame we allowed a basket in the last 6.5 second, I'm the blame we didn't take a rebound and that we missed from the foul line. There are no conflicts between me and the players. When you dig under the ground you find things."
"Now I have time to sit and think with myself. I don't have an answer about the future. Miki said Holon's strength came from their love, chemistry and a rare connection. In Maccabi there were teams that glued like that. I have no complaints for anybody in the team, but the pressure in Maccabi is different. Holon played with no pressure. Now as champs they'll feel it."
Tal Burstein added: "There's a great emptiness feeling. We finished a season without any title and such thing doesn't happen in Maccabi even once in a decade. It happened and we have to give the credit for Holon on a great season and a great Final Four. It doesn't matter where it happened, we lost the title and it hurts."
Will Bynum couldn't believe what happened: "It's a nightmare. We got to give Holon big credit for their win with the big shot Malik hit.
I was on the other side of the fence last year after Jaime won the game for us, and it's heart-breaking. We worked hard the whole season, made all the possible finals, but not more than that. I don't think we are a bad team. If we had hit a few more shots we had three titles now."
Derrick Sharp: "Tomorrow is a new day. We need to go home and play with our kids again. That's sport and basketball. These things happen and we'll have more chances. Maybe Holon deserved the win."
Miki Dorsman, Holon's coach: "I don't know what does a Cinderella mean. We came here to win. We have big time players. Each one is a stud. We weren't an underdog. Never were. All the people around me deserve this. You have no idea how happy I am."
Vujcic: "It's a disaster." Burstein: "There's big emptiness."
The players of the former champ tried to digest the loss to Holon. Nikola: "It's a disaster but first of all we need to congratulate Holon or a great game and the title."
